Job summary

Capital Electric in Upper Marlboro MD is seeking a Lead Warehouse Associate to drive end-to-end logistics and supervise a dynamic team. You will coordinate daily tasks, ensure safety, and maintain top levels of efficiency and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include supervising packaging, staging, loading, and material movement, while ensuring quality control for all outgoing products. A forklift-certified candidate with 1–2 years of relevant experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 4PM–1AM shift, Monday–Friday.
• 1–2 years warehouse experience; electrical distribution knowledge a plus.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Reading, writing, and arithmetic proficiency.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly; 70 lbs occasionally; forklift certified.

• Shipment Supremo: Oversee all incoming/outgoing logistics, upholding standards for speed and accuracy.

• Quality Control Captain: Ensure products meet our high quality standards before shipping.
• Safety First Advocate: Maintain a clean, safe workplace within SOPs and OSHA standards.
• PIT Master: Operate Powered Industrial Trucks to optimize warehouse flow.

Capital Electric is seeking a Lead Warehouse Associate to join our high-energy team in Upper Marlboro MD! In this pivotal leadership role, you'll be the primary driver of all incoming and outgoing logistics, coordinating your team to ensure peak efficiency. Your mission: keep the warehouse running like a well-oiled machine and help us maintain our status as the undisputed "electrical distributor of choice" in the area!

• PIT Master: Operate a variety of Powered Industrial Trucks with expertise to optimize warehouse flow.

REQUIRMENTS

• Work 4PM - 1AM Monday - Friday
• Bring 1-2 years of relevant warehouse experience to the table (bonus points for electrical distribution know-how!).
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with the team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to keep operations running smoothly.
• Solid foundational reading, writing, and arithmetic abilities.
• Possess a sharp eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs regularly, and 70 lbs occasionally (safety first!).
• Must be a proficient, safety-conscious forklift operator
• Thrive on variety; you're flexible, a pro at multitasking, and ready for anything the day brings.

Pay Range : $24 - $27 hourly
