Job summary

Johnson Brothers is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Worker to join our wine and spirits distribution team in Aurora, IL. The role focuses on receiving, storing, and picking alcoholic beverages in a fast-paced environment, using WMS and barcode scanning to maintain accurate stock.

You will operate manual and power equipment, complete forklift certification, and follow safety procedures to ensure product quality and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Receive product from suppliers and verify inbound inventory.
• Put away pallets in racked or bulk locations.

• Remove damaged products from inventory per procedures.
• Safely operate manual/power equipment and obtain forklift certification.
• Perform order selection and follow standard processes.
• Adhere to all safety and cleanliness protocols.
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.

Job Description Summary

Dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to work in the wine and spirits industry, responsible for receiving, storing, and picking alcoholic beverage products in a fast-paced distribution environment. Skilled in inventory management, palletizing, forklift operation, and maintaining accurate stock records while adhering to safety regulations and industry compliance standards. Demonstrates strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet productivity goals while ensuring product quality and customer satisfaction. Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team to support efficient warehouse operations.

Job Description:

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Receiving product from suppliers – ensuring accuracy of incoming inventory using scanning devices




• Put away inbound pallets of freight in both racked and bulk locations.




• Replenish locations for selection.




• Utilize Warehouse Management System bar code scanning system to accurately account for and locate product.




• Ensure all damaged products are properly removed from inventory and handled in accordance with procedures.




• Safely operate and utilize manual and power equipment.




• Complete forklift certification program.




• Order selection following standard processes




• Follow all safety and cleanliness protocols




• Other warehouse duties and activities as assigned.
