Job summary

Target Specialty Products is seeking a Warehouse Clerk in Virginia/Chesapeake to support order fulfillment, customer service, and inventory management. The role combines warehouse duties with customer-facing tasks, including assisting customers and processing transactions.

Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs and have basic computer skills. Forklift certification is preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment or in-store pickup.
• Customer Service: Assist walk-in customers by providing product information and helping them order the products they need.
• Retail-Style Service: Handle customer transactions, process payments, and provide a positive experience for customers visiting the branch.
• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory counts and ensure stock levels are properly recorded in the warehouse management system.
• Receiving and Stocking: Receive incoming shipments and stock shelves or warehouse areas efficiently.
• Product Knowledge: Develop understanding of products to better serve customers and ensure order accuracy.
• Documentation: Maintain records of orders, inventory, and customer interactions.
• Warehouse Maintenance: Keep warehouse and service areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols and company guidelines.
• Cross-Departmental Support: Assist with deliveries or additional warehouse duties as needed.
