Job summary

VF Corporation is seeking a Custodian to maintain a clean, safe distribution center environment in Danville, KY. The role involves general cleaning, sanitation, and support for daily operations throughout warehouse, office, and break areas.

Responsibilities include cleaning floors, restrooms, and common areas; disposing of waste; and following OSHA safety guidelines. Prior janitorial or warehouse experience is preferred, with a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and follow basic work instructions.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace cleanliness and safety.
• Previous janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, or facilities experience.
• Experience working in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
• Experience operating floor scrubbers, sweepers, or other custodial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean, safe, and organized distribution center environment.
• Clean warehouse floors with sweepers, scrubbers, mops, and other equipment.
• Empty trash and recycling throughout the facility.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, locker rooms, breakrooms, and office spaces.
• Dust, wipe, and disinfect surfaces, tables, fixtures, and touchpoints.
• Safely collect and dispose of waste per procedures.
