A warehouse custodial job typically involves maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in a warehouse environment. The key responsibilities and duties of a warehouse custodial worker may include:

Pay: $18/hour

Shift: Monday-Friday

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Sweep, mop, and clean floors regularly to maintain a safe and tidy work environment.
• Clean windows, walls, and ceilings as needed.
• Dust and wipe down shelves, storage racks, and equipment.
• Disinfect common areas like break rooms, restrooms, and office
• Empty trash bins and replace liners.
• Ensure proper disposal of recyclables, hazardous materials, or other waste products.
• Maintain cleanliness in dumpster areas.
• Regularly clean and sanitize restrooms, restock paper supplies and soap.
• Ensure that restrooms are stocked with necessary supplies (toilet paper, soap, etc.).
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Notify the supervisor when cleaning supplies are running low.
• Scrub and wax floors as needed.
• Use appropriate equipment (buffers, vacuums) to maintain the condition of floors
• Follow safety procedures to minimize accidents and maintain a safe environment
• Report safety hazards or areas in need of attention to supervisors.
• Assist with light maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs or ensuring warehouse fixtures are in working order.
• Perform periodic deep cleaning duties (e.g., carpet cleaning, washing windows).

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Previous custodial or janitorial experience is often preferred.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers or vacuums.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift cleaning materials.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
