Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Fulfills inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Monitors inventory levels and conducts cycle counts to resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintains stock movement records using handheld scanners and WMS; supports production continuity.
  • Ensures production lines have adequate supply of each product.
  • Complies with HACCP, GMP, FDA food safety standards; coordinates with cross-functional teams.
  • Keeps warehouse clean and organized to meet hygiene standards.
  • Assists management with other duties as assigned.

WAREHOUSE COORDINATOR - 1st Shift

Regular Full-Time Amarillo, TX, US

SUMMARY:

The Warehouse Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse activities within a food manufacturing environment. This includes managing inventory, coordinating shipping and receiving, maintaining compliance with food safety standards, and supporting cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Fulfills inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Monitors inventory levels by identifying and resolving discrepancies and conducting regular cycle counts.
  • Maintains accurate records of stock movements using handheld scanning devices and updating warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Ensures the production team maintains adequate supply levels on each product line.
  • Ensures compliance with food safety regulations Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point, Good Manufacturing Practices, Federal Drug Administration (e.g., HACCP, GMP, FDA).
  • Collaborates with production, quality assurance, and logistics teams to meet operational goals.
  • Oversees the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse to meet hygiene standards.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or certification in logistics/supply chain is a plus.
  • Minimum of (1) one year of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in food manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and warehouse best practices.
  • Must be familiar with inventory software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Forklift certification is required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIORNMENT:

  • Required to maneuver plant and warehouse workspaces which involve:
  • Frequently standing, walking, sitting, talking, or hearing,work around loud machinery and moving parts
  • Continually utilize hand and finger dexterity, continually exposed to extreme heat, extreme cold, wet and/or humid conditions (non-weather)
  • Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, exposed to outside weather conditions, and push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds safely
