WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR - 2nd Shift

SUMMARY:
The Warehouse Supervisor oversees daily warehouse operations in a food manufacturing facility, ensuring efficient inventory management, compliance with food safety standards, and timely distribution of goods.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Audit accurate records of stock movements using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Prepare reports on inventory, shipping, and receiving activities.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point, Good Manufacturing Practices, Federal Drug Administration (e.g., HACCP, GMP, FDA).
- Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and logistics teams to meet operational goals.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory or shipments.
- Assist & supervise warehouse staff with training, scheduling, and warehouse activities.
- Oversee the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse to meet hygiene standards.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or certification in logistics/supply chain is a plus.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in food manufacturing
- Minimum of two (2) years of leadership experience required.
- Computer proficiency, with demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office, Labor Management Systems, and Materials Management Systems, preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and warehouse best practices.
- Forklift and other warehouse equipment certifications are required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIORNMENT:
- Required to maneuver plant and warehouse workspaces which involve:
- Frequently standing, walking, sitting, talking, or hearing,work around loud machinery and moving parts
- Continually utilize hand and finger dexterity, continually exposed to extreme heat, extreme cold, wet and/or humid conditions (non-weather)
- Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, exposed to outside weather conditions, and push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds safely
