Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a reliable Warehouse Coordinator to process shipments, load orders, and ensure accuracy in fast-paced environments. The role requires standing for extended periods and working in hot or cold conditions, with attention to safety and company standards.

You will handle packing, receiving, inventory checks, and onboarding of new staff, contributing to smooth operations and timely deliveries.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma/GED preferred.
  • Current forklift certificate a plus
  • Proven work experience as a warehouse worker
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Ability to work on feet and carry heavy objects.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.

  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders.
  • Pulling material and packing orders in an orderly manner and prepare carton/crates for shipping.
  • Placing orders in delivery area
  • Treat products with care and concern at all times.
  • Receive merchandise for return or delivery and verify its contents.
  • Count and stock merchandise based on inventory control log.
  • Identify damaged, lost, or missing merchandise and notify supervisor immediately.
  • Maintains quality service by following organization standards.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat.
  • Maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Completes reports by entering required information.
  • Train and support new employees as they are on-board.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Role and Responsibilities:

The Warehouse Coordinator will complete shipments by processing and loading orders. Need to be an ambitious and hardworking professional who does not mind working in hot or cold conditions and can work an entire shift on his or her feet. We prize speed and accuracy above all else, so we require a Warehouse Coordinator who can pay careful attention on the job, follow instructions precisely and double-check his or her work before completing a task.
