Job summary

Deutsche Windtechnik is seeking a Warehouse Coordinator to manage goods receiving, inspection, sorting and storage across multiple sites in the US. You will coordinate shipping, prepare paperwork for sales and transfers, and help maintain an organized, safe warehouse.

The role requires a high school diploma, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, data entry and ERP familiarity, and a valid driver's license. Travel to support sites may be required; forklift experience is a plus.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Capable of thriving in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in multitasking, prioritizing, and time management.
  • Necessary data entry and computer skills.
  • Valid driver's license with an excellent driving record.
  • Experience with ERP systems is beneficial.
  • Forklift license is advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel to support our sites if required.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee goods receiving, unloading trucks, and inspecting merchandise.
  • Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or bins according to standards.
  • File claims for missing or damaged items received.
  • Coordinate shipping to internal sites and customers, and prepare paperwork for sales and transfers.
  • Organize the warehouse and implement a proper structure with assigned bin locations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse.
  • Conduct weekly cycle counts and full inventory counts.
  • Adhere to safety rules and wear appropriate safety equipment; assist onboarding new team members.

In the role of Warehouse Coordinator, you'll be overseeing a range of warehouse activities, such as goods receiving, merchandise inspection, sorting, and storage. Your responsibilities include handling claims for missing or damaged items, coordinating shipping to internal sites and customers, and generating necessary paperwork for sales and transfers. You'll play a key role in organizing the warehouse structure, ensuring cleanliness, and supporting shipping needs across various sites and departments. Conducting weekly cycle and full inventory counts, adhering to safety protocols, and ensuring proper safety equipment usage are integral parts of your duties. Additionally, you'll be involved in onboarding new team members.
