Job summary

Cardinal Health Senior Associate, Warehouse Operations is responsible for ensuring accurate order fulfilment across inbound, domestic outbound, and international outbound activities. The role executes SOPs, handles routine planning, and collaborates across teams to maintain efficient distribution operations.

The position emphasizes safety, process improvement, and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of warehouse planning experience highly preferred
• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
• Warehouse Management Systems (or similar) experience, preferred

Responsibilities

• Support in planning and closing out all inbound, domestic outbound, and international outbound shipments.
• Observe all safety precautions and regulations at all times in all areas where duties are performed.
• Responsible for reporting all safety hazards and potential unsafe working conditions.
• Understanding of all current replenishment center policies and procedures.
• Communicate with internal and external contacts to resolve issues.
• Proactively identifies opportunities to improve operational processes.
• Provides input into operational excellence initiatives through Supervisor and Manager.
• Serves as a resource to the operational departments and other team members.

Anticipated hourly range: $19.00-$26.80 per hour based on experience

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:30AM - 6PM or completion of work (weekend hours may be required based on business needs)

Warehouse Operations

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health Operations is responsible for materials handling and product distribution in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management as well as demand, supply and manufacturing planning. Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.

Job Summary

The Senior Associate, Warehouse Operations applies broad knowledge to ensure the integrity, quality, and accuracy of the facility’s order fulfilment processes which can including but is not limited to inbound, domestic outbound, and international outbound activities. The Senior Associate executes the facility’s standard operating procedures (SOPs) and responds effectively to routine and complex planning and transportation issues.

• May assist in occasional warehouse audits by providing reporting and answering questions related to inbound and outbound shipments.
