Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Warehouse Operations team member to support materials handling and product distribution in a dynamic distribution environment.

You will unload, store, pick, pack, and ship products, using pallet jacks and the Manhattan Warehouse Management System. Overtime may be required; schedule is 12:00pm–8:30pm, Mon-Fri.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience preferred.
• High School diploma, GED or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for whole shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfort working with heights 20-30 ft regularly.

Responsibilities

• Unloads trucks in the Inbound section using a pallet jack or similar devices.
• Uses Manhattan Warehouse Management System to check in products.
• Store products in warehouse locations using order picker or other devices.
• Picks products from warehouse locations and loads into outbound trucks.
• Packs products for shipment to customers.

Work schedule for this role is: 12:00pm - 8:30pm (or working until the work is complete), Monday-Friday. Overtime may be required based on business needs.

Warehouse Operations

Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health Operations is responsible for materials handling and product distribution in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management as well as demand, supply and manufacturing planning. Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc.

Responsibilities

• Unloads trucks in the Inbound section by using a pallet jack or equivalent devices to put pallets out of the trucks.
• Uses Manhattan Warehouse Management System to check in products.
• If working with specialty products, must follow regulations to store refrigerated products.
• Stores products in warehouse locations using order picker or other devices.
• Picks products from warehouse locations and loads into outbound trucks.
• Packs products for shipment to our customers.
• This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience, preferred
• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Comfort working with heights 20-30 ft regularly
