Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America is seeking a Warehouse Control Coordinator in Schuylkill Haven, PA to manage inbound/outbound shipments, inventories, and records. The role requires forklift certification and a high school diploma, with 1–2 years of related experience preferred.

You will work Tuesday to Saturday, 9am–5pm, handling FIFO and coordinating with drivers and customers. The position emphasizes accurate data entry, teamwork, and adherence to GMP and sanitation standards in a cultured dairy

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments and communicate with plant personnel.
• Perform month-end inventories and reconcile inventory records.
• Ensure all product is shipped to outside warehouses and that BOLs are sent to customers.
• Maintain FIFO inventory and accurate data in computer systems.
• Unload trucks using Powered Industrial Trucks as needed and communicate with drivers and customers.
• Support continuous improvement efforts and comply with GMP, food safety, and sanitation requirements.

Description

General Purpose

Perform a variety of senior-level clerical and operational duties in the warehouse. This may include coordination of inbound/outbound shipments, performing inventories, and maintaining accurate records both written and electronic in support of day-to-day operations. Serve as a resource to others inside and outside of the warehouse and perform assignments determined necessary by the team or management to ensure team success.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide regular communication with key plant or location personnel related to outbound and inbound shipments
• Perform month-end inventories of product in a timely manner with reconciliation of inventories
• Ensure all product is shipped to outside warehouses in a timely manner and BOL are sent to customers
• Ensure inventory of cooler is reconciled at the end of each month
• Make entries in appropriate computer system(s)
• Ensure first-in, first-out (FIFO) is being maintained
• Unload trucks as needed using Powered Industrial Trucks
• Communicate as required with truck drivers, customers, vendors and suppliers in a professional manner
• Function as an engaged employee and contribute to the site’s continuous improvement efforts
• Follow all DFA GMP’s and work in a manner consistent with all corporate and regulatory, food safety, quality and sanitation requirements

Requirements

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 to 2 years warehouse or related experience
• Certification and/or License – must have or be able to obtain forklift certification

• Knowledge of and skill with Microsoft Office Suite and company computer systems
• Able to respond courteously and efficiently to inquiries, complaints, and requests
• Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing

• Able to perform tasks and duties without constant supervision
