Job summary

Liebherr USA, Co in Tupelo, Mississippi seeks a Warehouse Control Center Specialist to supervise our supply chain visibility platform, monitor intralogistics flows, translate operational needs into system settings, and support users to maintain data integrity and resilience.

You will work with SAP S/4HANA, TMS, and WMS, develop process documents, train staff, analyze KPIs, and drive optimization and automation while coordinating with IT and suppliers. Travel up to 5%.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, business or related technical field.
  • 3–5 years of progressive logistics/warehouse operations experience with some system-heavy or key-user exposure.
  • Proficiency in ERP/TMS/WMS and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

Job description

The Warehouse Control Center Specialist is responsible for the daily administration and optimization of our supply chain "control center" or visibility platform. They lead real-time monitoring of internal logistics activities, translate operational requirements into technical system settings, and provide front-line support to system users. The Warehouse Control Center Specialist is responsible for maintaining data integrity and driving supply chain resilience through predictive and proactive problem-solving and technical fluency.

Responsibilities
  • Drive, steer, monitor and control all intralogistics flows within the warehouse
  • Key-User & warehouse process specialist - Act as the first point of contact for all system and process-related issues within the Control Center environment (e.g., SAP, TMS, or WMS).
  • Monitor real-time logistics data, including status updates, to identify and resolve exceptions before they impact service levels.
  • Translate operational and system processes into process flow documents (e.g. BPMN charts, SOPs) and regularly audit those for changes
  • Develop training materials and conduct regular sessions for operational staff to ensure consistent and correct system usage.
  • Analyze system performance metrics (KPIs) to identify bottlenecks and implement process optimizations or digital automation predictively and proactively.
  • Audit and maintain the quality of system data across the network to ensure reporting accuracy.
  • Bridge communications between end-users, key-users, IT development teams, and external partners (suppliers) for system upgrades or customer implementations.
  • Lead internal projects in order to streamline and optimize the efficiency of processes and systems
Competencies
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related technical field (e.g., Industrial Engineering) and 3-5 years of progressive experience in logistics, transportation coordination, or warehouse operations, with at least 1-2 years in a system-heavy or "Key User" capacity or combination of education and experience. Must be proficient in ERP (SAP S/4HANA preferred), TMS (Oracle, Blue Yonder), or WMS, have advanced data analysis skills using Power BI, Tableau, or Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP), and have familiarity with supply chain visibility tools (e.g., FourKites, Project44).
  • Travel domestically and internationally up to 5% of the time.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver license and passport.
  • Certifications such as Lean Six Sigma, CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) preferred.
