Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have three years experience in warehouse/commissary operation and demonstrate knowledge of cost control, inventory management, safety and sanitation.
• One year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Additional education may be substituted for experience on a year-for-year basis up to two years.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Minimum age: at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate the warehouse/commissary operations.
• Supervise staff and inmates/residents and evaluate performance per facility policy.
• Maintain an organized purchasing system per guidelines.
• Monitor costs and maintain professional standards of performance.
• Solicit and evaluate price quotations from vendors.
• Assist in managing facility resources.
