Job summary

IKEA Gruppe in Port Wentworth, GA is seeking a dedicated warehouse associate to support core operations, including picking, packing, receiving, and shipping, with a focus on accuracy, safety, and customer satisfaction.

You will unload, process and move merchandise, document damages, and contribute to daily planning and lean processes while complying with health and safety rules. The role is full-time, permanent, with a 34-40 hour workweek and a pay range of $19.92–$30.79 per hour.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of related warehouse experience.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs./30 kgs ergonomically.
  • Fluent in English and local language, both written and spoken.
  • Previous warehouse and forklift experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform core warehouse processes including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, replenishment, and storing of goods with a focus on accuracy, safety, and customer satisfaction.
  • Execute daily operations using available systems and tools to support efficient workflows and maintain data integrity.
  • Unload, process, and handle inbound and outbound merchandise safely, securing goods for proper movement.
  • Identify, document, and remove any damages found during handling of merchandise.
  • Contribute to goal setting for overall warehouse operations and support implementation of local business plans and improvement projects.

What you'll be doing day to day
