IKEA in Port Wentworth, GA is seeking a Warehouse Co-worker (1A) for Sunday to Wednesday, 6am to 4:30pm. You will perform core warehouse tasks with a focus on accuracy, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and maintaining data integrity using available systems. The role requires at least 1 year of related experience and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs. The starting rate is $19.92 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of related experience.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs./30 kgs ergonomically.
• Able to stand and walk for long periods.
• Fluent in English and local language, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Perform core warehouse processes including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, replenishment, and storing of goods with a focus on accuracy, safety, and customer satisfaction.
• Execute daily operations effectively using available systems and tools to support efficient workflows and maintain data integrity.
• Unload, process, and handle inbound and outbound merchandise safely, securing goods for proper movement throughout the distribution center.
• Identify, document, and remove any damages found or caused during handling of merchandise.
• Contribute to goal setting for overall warehouse operations and support implementation of local business plans and improvement projects.
• Analyze daily and seasonal workload demands to ensure efficient volume handling and resource planning.
• Support high goods availability through timely and precise execution of assigned tasks.
• Follow all IKEA health, safety, and security rules, actively helping to prevent incidents involving co-workers, customers, equipment, and products.
• Collaborate with colleagues and take responsibility for additional tasks or projects as assigned.

What you'll be doing day to day
