Utz Quality Foods in Kings Mountain, NC is seeking a Warehouse Clerk to receive, store and distribute materials within the facility. The role requires operating trucks, coordinating inbound/outbound shipments, and maintaining accurate records in D365. Expected shift is Friday-Sunday with 6:00 PM–6:30 AM hours.

Responsibilities

• Check in all trucks and assign a door.
• Coordinate loading/unloading of trucks.
• Schedule inbound/outbound trucking per supervisor.
• Create Bills of Lading and other paperwork for shipments.
• Verify that paperwork is complete and update the receiving log.
• Log receiving/shipping data into D365.
• Print labels for items/shipments.
• Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed.
• Generate and submit daily shipping/receiving logs.
• Participate in monthly/quarterly/year-end inventories.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Job Description

At Utz Quality Foods, we have expanded ourKings Mountain, NCmanufacturing facility and looking for a dedicated Warehouse Clerk to work from our manufacturing facility located in Kings Mountain, NC. The Warehouse Clerk is responsible to receive, store and distribute material, tools, equipment, and products within the warehouse, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.

Rotating Work Schedule: Friday-Sunday and Thursday- Sunday 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM

Key Responsibilities:

• Check in all trucks (both inbound and outbound) and assign a door.
• Coordinate the loading/unloading of the trucks using available warehouse labor.
• Schedule by phone all inbound and outbound trucking appointments adhering to the schedule put forth by the supervisor.
• Create all necessary Bills of Lading and any other required paperwork for customer shipments.
• Verify that all required paperwork is present and update the daily receiving log.
• Responsible for the accurate logging of receiving and shipping information into D365.
• Print labels for any items or shipments requiring labels.
• Assist with any other warehouse functions as needed.
• Generate and turn in daily shipping and receiving logs.
• Plays an active role in the monthly, quarterly and year-end physical inventories.
• Perform any other duties as required by any Manager, Supervisor or Lead.

Requirements:

• W ork s with management and fellow associates to ensure Food Safety programs are followed.
• Rep ort s food , office or operational safety problems to a supervisor or manager for initiating action.
• Able to obtain and maintain a forklift license.
• Must have the ability to multi-task.
• Ability to communicate both orally and in writing
• Must possess intermediate math and reading skills.
• Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Must be team oriented.
• Must adhere to all G ood M anufacturing P ractices .
