Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Warehouse Clerk in Newnan, Georgia. Expect weekly pay with a base rate of $19.50 per hour, plus $0.50 per hour when on second shift. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 1:00 pm–9:00 pm. Join a team focused on safety and continuous improvement in a clean, well-run facility.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year clerical or warehouse experience preferred.
• 1+ year forklift experience preferred.
• 1+ year Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build professional relationships within all levels of the organization.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible to operate in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail oriented with excellent time management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities with clerks from other floor areas, the customer and/or other suppliers as needed.
• Use the location's WMS system to update area or shift metrics as needed.
• Generate daily, weekly or monthly reports and summaries.
• Floor work and additional duties as assigned.
• Perform basic administrative tasks and maintain filing systems.
• Gather and provide information to floor employees in the area of support.
• Coordinate meetings and communications for the area or shift.
• Perform other duties as assigned depending on area supported.
