Job summary

API Heat Transfer Career Center in Racine, Wisconsin, is hiring a Warehouse Clerk for the 1st shift. You will participate in all warehouse activities, receive and process stock, and support inventory management following standard operating procedures.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, ERP experience, and at least two years of warehouse work; forklift certification is preferred. We offer a starting hourly rate of $19+ based on experience, with day-one benefits and a 11 paid holidays.

What You Will Do:

The Warehouse Clerk will participate in all warehouse activities and receive and process stock according to standard operating procedures.

• Receiving product and materials in using company ERP system
• Picking parts for production needs
• Assist with inventory counts and planning.
• Help drive compliance with safety, quality, and productivity goals.
• Provide recommendations on process improvements and assist with implementation.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of warehouse.

What You Bring:

• High school diploma
• ERP System experience (i.e., SAP, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, PLEX)
• At least two years of previous warehouse experience.
• Forklift certification and truck driving experience preferred.
• Solution focused and process improvement driven.
• Proven ability to develop relationships with internal partners.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Lean / Continuous Improvement experience preferred.

Physical Requirements for Manufacturing Production Employees

1. Standing:
   Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8-12 hours per shift).
2. Walking:
   Frequent walking throughout the production floor.
3. Lifting and Carrying:

• Regularly lift and carry up to 25-50 pounds.
• Occasionally lift heavier items (up to 75 pounds) with assistance or equipment.

1. Pushing and Pulling:
   Use of manual or mechanical means to push/pull carts, equipment, or materials.
2. Repetitive Motions:
   Frequent use of hands and wrists for repetitive tasks (e.g., assembling, sorting, packaging).
3. Manual Dexterity:
   Good hand-eye coordination and the ability to handle small parts or tools.
4. Climbing:
   Occasional use of ladders or steps to reach equipment or storage areas.
5. Visual and Hearing Requirements:

• Sufficient vision (with or without correction) to read labels, safety signs, and equipment gauges.
• Adequate hearing (with or without aids) to respond to alarms and verbal instructions in a noisy environment.

1. Environmental Tolerance:

• Ability to work in varying temperatures (hot, cold, or humid conditions).
• Exposure to noise, dust, odors, and manufacturing chemicals.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
