Job summary

Plasma-Therm seeks a Warehouse Kitting Specialist in Saint Petersburg, FL to support production by assembling and delivering parts kits for manufacturing. The role emphasizes accuracy, organization, and timely kit delivery to assembly lines.

You will work closely with Production and Purchasing to resolve discrepancies and maintain precise ERP records. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in warehouse or manufacturing settings, with experience in kitting and BOM interpretation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a warehouse, materials, or manufacturing environment.
• Experience with kitting, inventory management, or production support preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret bills of materials (BOMs), part numbers, and work orders.
• Familiarity with ERP or warehouse management systems required.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage, and kit parts and materials from warehouse inventory based on production work orders and bills of materials (BOMs).
• Verify accuracy of part numbers, quantities, and lot/serial numbers before releasing kits to production.
• Coordinate with Production, Planning, and Purchasing teams to resolve shortages, substitutions, or discrepancies.
• Ensure all kitted materials are packaged, labeled, and staged properly for timely transfer to manufacturing areas.
• Maintain accurate inventory transactions in ERP system, including issuing materials and updating stock levels.
• Support cycle counts and physical inventory activities to ensure warehouse accuracy.
• Follow and promote safety, 5S, and quality standards in all warehouse activities.
• Assist with receiving, stocking, and other warehouse functions as needed to support team operations.

TEMP ASSIGNMENT - 3 MONTHS

Plasma-Therm is seeking a Warehouse Kitting Specialist to support our production operations by accurately assembling and delivering parts kits for manufacturing. This role plays a critical part in ensuring our assembly and production teams receive the right components, in the right quantities, at the right time. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and committed to accuracy and efficiency in warehouse processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick, stage, and kit parts and materials from warehouse inventory based on production work orders and bills of materials (BOMs)..
• Verify accuracy of part numbers, quantities, and lot/serial numbers before releasing kits to production.

• 2+ years of experience in a warehouse, materials, or manufacturing environment.
• Prior experience with kitting, inventory management, or production support preferred.
• Familiarity with ERP or warehouse management systems required (experience with manufacturing ERP systems a plus).
• Ability to read and interpret bills of materials (BOMs), part numbers, and work orders.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a warehouse environment.
• Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills.
