Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Warehouse Clerk in Minooka, Illinois to join our team in clean, well‑run facilities that support a safe, efficient supply chain. You will help coordinate daily warehouse activities and support floor crews to keep operations moving.

This role offers weekly pay, benefits from day one, paid training, and a 401(k) plan. Requirements include a high school diploma and clerical or warehouse experience; forklift experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year or more clerical or warehouse experience preferred.
• 1 year or more experience operating forklift equipment preferred.
• 1 year or more Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates activities with clerks from other floor areas, the customer and/or other suppliers as needed.
• Uses the location's WMS system to update area metrics.
• Generates daily, weekly or monthly reports, memos, and summaries.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay $21.50 per hour
• Overtime Pay $32.25 per hour
• Additional Pay $0.50 per hour
• Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 5:30 pm OT as Needed

Requirements

• Coordinates activities with clerks from other floor areas, the customer and/or other suppliers as needed.
• Using the location's WMS system updates area or shift metrics as needed.
• Generates daily, weekly or monthly reports, memos, and summaries often of a technical and/or confidential nature.
• Floor work and additional duties as assigned.
• Performs basic administrative tasks for area or shift. Maintains filing systems and documents.
• Gathers from and provides information to floor employees in his/her area of support.
• Coordinates activities/meetings/communication for the specific area or shift.
• Performs other duties as assigned depending on area supported or if location specific.
