Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a reliable Warehouse Clerk in New York to perform general warehouse duties, shipping/receiving, and stock maintenance. The role requires an 18+ age, a valid driver's license, and willingness to train on-site.

Experience isn’t required, and on-the-job training is provided. The position involves loading/unloading, keeping areas organized, and coordinating inventory checks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• No experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required.
• Preferred: one year of similar work experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform shipping and receiving duties.
• Document incoming and outgoing items.
• Keep a tidy and organized work area.
• Maintain stock of shop supplies.
• Load and unload materials to and from designated storage areas.
• Verify documented counts against physical counts of stock.
• Receive and fill orders or prepare supplies for sale.
• Install protective devices to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported.
• Drive truck or forklift to pick up incoming stock or deliver materials.
• Pickup and deliver customer equipment, shop supplies, parts, etc.
• Perform facility janitorial and maintenance duties (change light bulbs, remove trash, communicate work orders, etc.)

Pay : $17.90 - $18.40 per hour
