Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a reliable Warehouse Clerk in the Town of Pembroke, NY area. This role handles general warehouse tasks, shipping and receiving, stocking, order preparation, and material handling. A valid driver's license is required; on-the-job training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform shipping and receiving duties
• Document incoming and outgoing items
• Keep a tidy and organized work area
• Maintain stock of shop supplies
• Load and unload materials to and from designated storage areas
• Verify documented counts against physical counts of stock
• Receive and fill orders or prepare supplies for sale
• Install protective devices to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported
• Drive truck or forklift to pick up incoming stock or deliver materials
• Pickup and deliver customer equipment, shop supplies, parts, etc.
• Perform facility janitorial and maintenance duties (change light bulbs, remove trash, communicate work orders, etc.)
