Job summary

DAUMAR Corporation in Huntersville, NC is seeking an experienced warehouse employee to join a fast-paced, fresh produce packaging operation. The role focuses on pulling material for outbound orders and supplying manufacturing lines with material.

This position may include overtime and occasional weekend work, with forklift operation as a core duty. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of shipping/receiving and inventory experience, and a valid forklift certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in shipping/receiving and inventory control.
• Experience with FIFO and PDA/RF scanner.
• Forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Description

We are looking for an experienced warehouse employee who is ready to join a fast-paced, growing team in the fresh produce packaging industry. This position may have the option for overtime, as well as occasional weekend work. The primary focus for this role will be pulling material for outbound orders. A secondary job function will be to supply the manufacturing lines with material, and store finished goods in the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Assist with shipping and receiving duties as needed.


• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move and transport materials within the warehouse or production facility.


• Safely load and unload trucks, containers, and shelves using forklifts


• Inspect and maintain forklift equipment, reporting any malfunctions or damage.


• Follow safety guidelines and OSHA regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.


• Valid Forklift Operation Certification


• Previous experience operating a forklift or similar equipment preferred


• Supplying Manufacturing lines (1 year of experience)


• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately


• Fluent in Spanish – preferred but not required
