Job summary

Paylocity in Roselle, IL is seeking a Receiving Associate to handle incoming goods, check against P.O.s, and prepare items for shipment to company locations.

You will maintain records, manage warehouse inventory, operate a sit-down forklift, and use ERP and Microsoft Office. Bilingual Spanish a plus, not required.

Qualifications

• High school education and 2–3 years in a factory receiving role.
• Able to read/write English and perform basic math.
• May lift up to 70 lbs and operate a sit-down forklift.
• Ability to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Check goods received against purchase orders or invoices.
• Maintain records of received goods and inventory accuracy.
• Manage warehouse inventory and ensure accurate stock levels.
• Coordinate with carriers for timely receiving schedules.
• Update computer systems with receipt activity.
• Ensure 100% inventory accuracy and organized warehouse.
• Operate time and attendance systems and work overtime when required.
• Use scanning equipment to enter information into the system.
• Cross-train in all plant areas to ensure total coverage.

Description

Receive orders against P.O.s, put stock away in warehouse or prepare for shipment to different

company locations.

- Check goods received against purchase orders or invoices

- Maintains records of received goods
- Manage inventory of products stored in the warehouse; ensure inventory accuracy
- Work with carriers to ensure a timely and efficient Receiving schedule.
- Update computer system with receipt activity
- 100% inventory accuracy
- Excellent warehouse organization and housekeeping a must.
- Operate the time and attendance system.

- MUST be able to work overtime when needed.

- Using scanning equipment to enter information into our system.

- Must be willing to be cross trained in all areas of the plant to ensure total coverage in case of

schedule changes.

Requirements

Minimum of a high school education and two to three years of factory related experience in Receiving.

Required to read and write English, follow verbal instructions and use simple math.

May require some heavy lifting (up to 70lbs.)

Able to work on computer to use Microsoft Office and ERP system

Sit-down forklift experience

Bilingual in Spanish a plus, not required.
