Job description

A Day in the Life: The Warehouse Clerk contributes to critical daily business operations across administrative, customer relations, inventory, and logistics functions. This role involves interaction with customers, colleagues, and leadership to promote operational continuity and maintain service quality. Tasks may include managing shipping and billing documentation, addressing client inquiries, and resolving equipment issues. Success in this position requires attention to detail, flexibility, and the ability to work both independently and in coordination with others in a dynamic environment.

What You Bring to the Table

Customer Interaction Experience

Perform responsible clerical duties within the department which may require initiative and good judgment. Work may be varied in nature and performed with minimum supervision.

Primary Job Functions

• Bomb and release all routed store orders within the EXE System in sequential order
• Utilize the EXE System to manually place all waved orders in Pick Manager, allowing selection to begin
• Per the work-load on a shift, set-up the shipping dock via the PINC Yard Management System
• Net Invoice completed assignments in EXE, ensuring the stores are billed for items shipped and correct quantities are listed for all pallet types in EXE
• Create chase (shorted product) assignments in Pick Manager
• Maintains file for daily loading and production records
• Assist in the resolution of problem pallets in Twilight Zone

Technical Knowledge And Organizational Skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as in groups
• Good organizational skills
• Aptitude for math and working with figures is necessary
• Familiarity with EXE, Pick Manager, PINC Systems
• Strong computer skills
• Must have history of good attendance
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment
• Incumbent may be required to lift up to 30 lbs. infrequently during the day
• Calculators, keyboards, phones, and other equipment in the course of the workday

Operational Awareness

• Some work is performed under general office conditions in a temperature controlled environment. Incumbent may sit for long periods of time at a desk or computer.
• During part of the workday the incumbent will be moving about the Distribution Center warehouse floor, including up and down stairs multiple times and potential hazards exist in regard to machinery such as forklifts, pallet jacks, mechanized systems, movement of tractors and trailers, etc.
• Possible exposure to common household cleaning products (i.e. cleaning materials, ammonia, bleach etc.) and also facility pest control fumes.
