Job summary

Jimmy’s Gourmet Bakery is seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Clerk to support daily warehouse operations and administrative tasks. The role focuses on preparing and maintaining shipping and receiving paperwork, verifying BOLs/POs, and entering data into the WMS to ensure accurate records for shipments.

You will coordinate pickups and deliveries with carriers and customers, direct carriers to loading docks, and assist with general warehouse admin tasks while monitoring safety and quality

Jimmy’s Gourmet Bakery is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Warehouse Clerk to support daily warehouse operations. This role is responsible for preparing and maintaining shipping and receiving paperwork, verifying bills of lading (BOLs) and purchase orders (POs), entering information into the warehouse management system (WMS), and coordinating delivery and pickup appointments with carriers and customers.

Requirements

• Prepare and maintain shipping and receiving paperwork.
• Verify BOLs and POs for accuracy.
• Enter shipment information into the warehouse management system.
• Coordinate with carriers and customers regarding pickups and deliveries.
• Direct carriers to the appropriate loading dock.
• Assist with general warehouse administrative tasks and report quality or safety concerns.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma and one year of warehouse experience, or equivalent experience.
• At least two years of experience with Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Basic math, computer, and data-entry skills.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

• Primarily an office-based role, with occasional work on the receiving dock.
• Must be comfortable working in an environment with moderate to occasionally high noise levels.
• Products manufactured at the facility may contain peanuts, milk, and tree nuts.
• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods and perform occasional climbing, bending, kneeling, and reaching.
• Ability to regularly lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
