Job summary

Steel Dynamics, Inc. is seeking a warehouse associate responsible for issuing proper supplies and maintaining accurate stock records in a safe, efficient manner. You will learn and operate the terminal, stock items, perform cycle counts, and help with inspections of mobile equipment.

Ideal candidates possess strong communication, math skills, and attention to detail, with the ability to multi-task and work with limited supervision. Some weekends and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• REQUIRED: Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have excellent math skills.
• Must be detailed oriented.
• Self-starter with ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision.
• Flexibility to work extra hours and weekends as needed.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Must be able to climb stairs as necessary.
• Ability to deal with frequent changes, delays or unexpected events.
