Job summary

Steel Dynamics, Inc. seeks a warehouse associate responsible for issuing supplies, stocking, and keeping accurate records in a safe, efficient manner at our Roanoke facility.

You will operate terminal devices, perform cycle counts, conduct daily inspections, and maintain housekeeping. Lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing stairs, and flexibility for extra hours/weekends are required. Basic computer skills and forklift experience are preferred. Qualifications

• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have excellent math skills.
• Must be detailed oriented.
• Self-starter with ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision.
• Flexibility to work extra hours and weekends as needed.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Must be able to climb stairs as necessary.
• Ability to deal with frequent changes, delays or unexpected events.
• Forklift experience and basic computer skills preferred.
