Job summary

Americold Logistics, LLC. is seeking a Janitor to maintain the cleanliness of offices, break rooms, bathrooms, yards, parking lots, warehouse and dock areas under general supervision. Responsibilities include cleaning floors, walls, glass, removing rubbish and reporting repairs.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED (preferred) and at least one year of related experience. You will follow written or verbal instructions, work safely, operate cleaning equipment, and may work overtime as

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred or one year related work experience.
Ability to follow written or verbal instructions and safety rules.
Ability to solve routine problems and work independently.
Knowledge of cleaning equipment and janitorial procedures.
Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.

Responsibilities

Perform heavy cleaning duties such as floors, rugs, walls, glass and rubbish removal.
Maintain cleanliness of offices, break rooms, bathrooms, yards, parking lots, warehouses and docks.
Notify management of repairs and assist with basic maintenance tasks.
Ensure pest control systems are functioning and report issues.
Follow safety rules and OSHA standards; work overtime if required.
Wash or sweep trailers and railcars as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
