Americold Logistics, LLC. is seeking a sanitation associate to clean and sanitize food-handling areas, equipment, and facilities to meet quality and safety standards.

You will use chemicals and cleaning tools, prepare solutions, and ensure safe handling of chemicals across warehouses, docks, and common areas. The role requires following safety rules, teamwork, and attention to detail, with potential overtime to meet workload demands.

Qualifikationen

• Must relate to people beyond giving/receiving instructions and work with others.
• Ability to follow written or verbal instructions.
• Ability to understand and follow all safety rules, manuals, and diagrams.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures and janitorial techniques.
• Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of safe use of cleaning chemicals.
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment.

Aufgaben

• Clean and sanitize facility work areas and equipment using chemicals and cleaning supplies.
• Prepare cleaning chemicals and concentrations.
• Handle and store chemical agents and equipment per standards.
• Manage chemical accidents.
• Keep grounds free of litter, debris and hazards.
• Observe safety requirements and report hazards.
• Comply with OSHA, FDA, USDA, and SQF standards.
• May ensure pest control systems are working and report issues.
• May wash/sweep insides of trailers or railcars.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
