Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Cycle Counter Inventory Clerk in Naperville, IL. Work a first shift (Mon–Fri, 7:00 am–3:30 pm) with weekly pay and strong benefits in a safe, organized warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include cycle counts, audits of inbound/outbound shipments, and ensuring inventory accuracy to meet client demands. Prior warehouse and forklift experience, plus MS Office skills, are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Warehouse experience preferred.
• Experience operating forklift equipment preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Audit inbound and outbound shipments.
• Participate in physical inventories as necessary.
• Provide floor support to supervisors and hourly associates on inventory issues.
• Resolve inventory discrepancies as needed.
• Maintain GMPs with emphasis on safety.
• Ensure inventory accuracy to meet client demands.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent perferred
• One (1) year or more previous warehouse experience preferred
• One (1) year or more experience operating forklift equipment preferred
• One (1) year or more Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) preferred
• Depending on location may be required to be equipment certified
• Ability to recognize and read location, date and product codes
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment
• Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills
