Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. in Danville, IL is seeking a Warehouse Checker/Loader IV to load and secure products for trailers, using hand or powered equipment. You will conduct quality checks and report any product integrity concerns to a supervisor, while maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Ideal candidates are organized, safety-focused, and effective team players who can read and understand English. Shift is first day, with full-time hours and benefits after start.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and understand English to perform tasks safely.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to perform accurate visual inspections.

Responsibilities

• Load and secure products in trailers in a safe manner.
• By hand or by use of powered equipment.
• Maintain quality control for Non conveyable products prior to loading.
• Bring any concerns about product integrity to a supervisor's attention.
• Communicate any special circumstances to the delivery driver via the Shipping Loading Report.
• Maintain a clean, debris-free work area.
• Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products and equipment.
• Other duties may be assigned.
