Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Checker/Loader IV to join our distribution team.

The role involves loading and securing products for transport, using hand tools or powered equipment, and maintaining quality control before loading onto trailers. The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule from 10:00am to 6:30pm with a pay rate of $24.25 to $29.25 per hour, plus comprehensive benefits starting on the 60th day, including medical, dental and vision insurance, FSA/HSA, and company-paid

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to perform accurate visual inspections.
• Reading, writing and understanding English at work level for instructions and safety communications.

Responsibilities

• Load and secure products in trailers.
• Operate by hand or powered equipment as required.
• Maintain quality control for non-conveyable items prior to loading.
• Report any product integrity concerns to a supervisor.
• Communicate special circumstances to the delivery driver via Shipping Loading Report.
• Maintain a clean, debris-free work area.
• Work safely to prevent injuries and damage to products and equipment.
• Other duties may be assigned.
