Job summary

Staffmark in Memphis, TN is hiring a Warehouse Case Pick Forklift Operator. You will operate sit-down forklifts and EPJ equipment, perform case picking with a handheld scanner, load and unload pallets, and move products through the warehouse during a 2 PM–10 PM shift, Monday through Friday, at a pay rate of $19.00–$20.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months of sit-down forklift and/or EPJ experience.
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs and work on your feet during the shift.
• Case pick using a scanner, frequently off equipment.
• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using forklifts or other power equipment (80% of shift).
• Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring the exact number and types of product are loaded.
• Comply with OSHA and SDS standards.

Requirements and Job Duties

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• Case pick utilizing a scanner, frequently getting off the equipment.
• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using various types of forklifts or other power equipment 80% of the specified shift.
• Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring the exact number and types of product are loaded.
• Keep appropriaterecords and reportsforinventoryaccuracy.
• Comply with all OSHA and SDS standards.
• Verify load accuracy;checkthe load count, stability, and product damage, and report variances as necessary.
• Change the equipment battery or LP tank and monitor the power source as necessary.
• Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
• Assist in physical inventories.
• Complete daily inspection of equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
