Job summary

PepsiCo in Newport News, VA is hiring for a full‑time warehouse associate who will hand build pallets, load trucks, operate a forklift, and keep loads secure for on‑time deliveries. You’ll follow loading sheets, use order systems, and maintain a clean, safe workspace while supporting weekend shifts (Sunday–Thursday) and a 12:00–20:00 schedule.

The role requires physical stamina and forklift certification may be required.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• Position requires you to perform physical labor (with or without accomodation).
• Position requires non-traditional shifts and weekend work.
• Position may require you to use a forklift or become forklift certified.

Responsibilities

• Build pallets of product for bulk and route trucks, following warehouse instructions and load sheets.
• Use an electronic order system or order sheets to ensure loading accuracy for outgoing trucks and unloading for incoming trucks.
• Operate a forklift and/or power pallet jack to move product to picking areas and build pallets/loads as assigned.
• Wrap and secure pallets/loads when finished to maintain stability for transport.
• Stage pallets and/or load product into trailers and trucks when ready, including handling returned pallets/plastic flats.
• Mark load tickets for out-of-stock items and turn in paperwork for check before loading.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following proper housekeeping standards in your work area.
