Job summary

Optimum Staffing , Inc is hiring for a Full-Time local Warehouse/Backup Driver in the Richmond, VA area. The role involves pulling orders, loading/unloading trucks, and maintaining a clean warehouse while occasionally operating a 26' box truck for HVAC product deliveries. It is a non-CDL position with 9-hour shifts starting at 7:00 AM.

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Experience operating a 26' Box Truck preferred.
• Comfortable performing touch freight.
• Must be willing to perform both warehouse and backup driving duties.

• Pulling orders and preparing for shipment.
• Loading and unloading trucks as needed.
• Clean and maintain the warehouse workspace.
• Operate a 26' Box Truck when required.
• Deliver HVAC products and supplies as backup driver.

• Earn $19.00-$22.00/HR based on experience | Paid Weekly

• Work approximately 9-hour shifts, starting at 7:00 AM.


• Perform warehouse duties including:


• Pulling orders


• Loading and unloading trucks


• Cleaning and maintaining the warehouse


• Operate a 26' Box Truck when driving duties are needed.


• Serve as a backup driver when needed.


• Step in as the first backup driver to replace another driver when necessary.


• Make deliveries of HVAC products and supplies.


• Use a pallet jack (PLTJ) to assist with loading and unloading.


• Safely handle touch freight and maintain an organized work environment.

Requirements

• Non-CDL position


• Minimum 12 months of relevant warehouse/driving experience.


• Must be at least 21 years old.


• Experience operating a 26' Box Truck preferred.


• Comfortable performing touch freight.


• Must be comfortable using a pallet jack.


• Must be willing to perform both warehouse and backup driving duties.


• Must be available to work Monday-Friday starting at 7:00 AM.


• Must be dependable and flexible when coverage is needed.
