Cozzini Bros, Inc. is hiring a Backup Transfer Truck Driver-CLASS B/ Warehouse Associate for the PM shift in a fast-paced distribution environment in New York. The role supports warehouse operations, inventory management, and distribution activities, with responsibilities including receiving, staging, shipping, paperwork verification, and cycle counts.

Schedule is Monday–Thursday, 2:30 PM–1:00 AM. Pay rates are $28.00/hour for warehouse work and $29.00/hour when operating the transfer truck.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Working knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate distribution activities including receiving, storing, shipping, and handling returned or damaged goods.
• Ensure shipping schedules are met and customer orders processed accurately and on time.
• Receive, unload, stage, and organize inbound and outbound shipments.
• Verify inbound/outbound paperwork and maintain accurate records.
• Count and document inventory movements and assist with cycle counts.
• Maintain dock space and warehouse organization, ensuring safety and OSHA compliance.
• Operate a 26-foot box truck as needed to support transfer and distribution activities (CLASS B).
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

We are a growing national service company seeking a dependable and motivated Backup Transfer Truck Driver-CLASS B/ Warehouse Associate to join our PM shift team. This role is essential to supporting warehouse operations, inventory management, and distribution activities within a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have warehouse experience, a strong work ethic, and the ability to operate a 26-foot box truck when needed.

Schedule & Compensation

• Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 2:30 PM – 1:00 AM
• Pay Rate:
• $28.00/hour during warehouse activities
• $29.00/hour when operating the transfer truck

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute distribution activities, including receiving, storing, shipping, handling returned or damaged goods, and related administrative tasks.
• Ensure shipping schedules are met, and customer orders are processed accurately and on time.
• Receive, unload, stage, and organize inbound and outbound shipments.
• Verify all inbound and outbound paperwork and maintain accurate records.
• Count, verify, and document inventory entering and leaving the facility.
• Assist with physical inventories and cycle counts.
• Optimize dock space utilization and warehouse organization.
• Complete required reports and records accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and security.
• Monitor equipment and facility conditions and report issues as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain compliance with OSHA standards.
• Operate a 26-foot box truck as needed to support transfer and distribution activities. CLASS B REQUIRED!
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
