Job summary

Salvation Army South SF Store is seeking a Warehouse Associate/Back Room Processor to support production operations. The role involves sorting merchandise, QA inspections, and correct routing to departments, with duties at the South San Francisco facility.

Immediate supervisor is the Store Manager, and the position is full-time with on-site work. The job requires a high school diploma or equivalent, basic reading/writing, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Ability to read and write and to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Sort product efficiently and properly according to TSA policy.
• Provide Quality Assurance by inspecting products for defects and damages.
• Identify product correctly and direct to proper department for processing.
• Collect merchandise from the distribution center and safely transporting materials.
• Follow safety measures established and maintained by TSA policy and government regulations.
• Maintain confidentiality as needed and required for the operation of the total program.
• Overtime: Any and all overtime must have the written approval of the supervisor.
• Other written or verbal duties as may be assigned by the Store Manager or their designated representative
