Job summary

The Salvation Army Southern California is currently seeking a Warehouse Associate/Backroom Processor in San Francisco to support the Production department. This full-time role involves sorting product, performing quality checks, and directing items to the correct departments while adhering to TSA policies and safety standards.

We require a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions, and physical capability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Competency in skill area as indicated by verifiable training and/or experience.
• Ability to read and write and to understand and follow both written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Sort product efficiently according to TSA policy.
• Provide Quality Assurance by inspecting products for defects and damages.
• Identify product and direct to proper department for processing.
• Collect merchandise from the distribution center and safely transport materials.
• Follow safety measures established and maintained by TSA policy and government regulations.
• Maintain confidentiality as needed and required for the operation of the total program.
• Overtime: Any and all overtime must have the written approval of the supervisor.
• Other written or verbal duties as assigned by the Store Manager or their designated representative.
