Job summary

Raymond West in California seeks a dynamic Project Manager to join the Systems team and drive warehouse storage and automation projects from inception to final invoicing. You will coordinate with vendors, customers, and Raymond West sales and credit personnel to ensure on-time completion and profitability.

The role requires strong communication, scheduling, and contracting skills, with travel up to 25% and readiness for off-hours as project needs dictate.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school.
• PMP certification or bachelor’s degree focused in supply and logistics preferred.
• Over 2 years' experience in application, design, or installation of distribution center storage and automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee all storage and automation project activities from assignment to final invoicing, including engineering calculations, permits, documentation, scheduling, material orders, PO issuance, shipping, installation, and customer acceptance.
• Maintain as-sold gross profit and minimize cost overruns on project execution.
• Create and publish Gantt charts with milestones and ensure timely updates to stakeholders.
• Review and approve installation documents and coordinate site visits for all milestones.
• Manage internal job costs and customer change orders.
• Foster strong, professional relationships with customers, employees, and cross-department teams.
