Ashley Furniture Industries is seeking a Senior Warehouse Automation Engineer to design and implement state-of-the-art automation across our national distribution network. You will lead multi-million dollar projects that reshape our distribution operations with robotics, AI integration, and advanced control systems.
This role demands hands-on engineering leadership, cross-functional collaboration with operations, IT, and vendors, and a track record of delivering scalable automation solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Robotics, or related field).
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in warehouse automation, material handling systems, or industrial automation.
- Proven track record leading large-scale automation projects from design through implementation.
- Experience with robotics integration, controls programming, and system commissioning.

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Robotics, or related field)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in warehouse automation, material handling systems, or industrial automation
- Proven track record leading large-scale automation projects from design through implementation
- Experience with robotics integration, controls programming, and system commissioning
- Proficiency with automation design software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar)
- Strong understanding of control systems (PLCs, robotics controllers, SCADA)
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and warehouse control systems (WCS)
- Knowledge of AI/ML applications in logistics and automation
- Familiarity with safety standards and compliance requirements
- Strategic thinking with ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
