Job summary

Seminole Gaming seeks a Warehouse Attendant in Tampa to assist in planning, organizing, and directing receipt, storage, and distribution of warehouse goods. You will work in a fast-paced back-of-house environment within the casino's operations.

Responsibilities include receiving and storing materials, inspecting for damage, rotating stock, maintaining inventory accuracy, and completing all paperwork. Must meet safety rules, be able to lift up to 75 pounds, and be available weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of warehouse experience.
• Ability to operate pallet jacks, forklifts, reach lifts.
• Must possess a legal driver’s license or have the ability to obtain the license within the first 90 days as a condition of continued employment.
• Must be able to follow safety rules and procedures as dictated by the warehouse manager
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals, compute ratio, rate and percent
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram and schedule form
• High level of attention to detail
• May occasionally be required to type and operate basic computer software applications

Work Environment:

• Duties and responsibilities are typically performed in the back of house of the casino, which can be faced-paced with excessive noise. Also, there may be times where you will need to be on the Casino Floor or pass through this area. On the Casino Floor, you may be exposed to casino-related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke and excessive noise.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
