Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks using forklift and pallet jack.
• Inspect incoming merchandise for count and quality; report discrepancies.
• Stock and deliver items to correct area; sign for incoming/outgoing items.
• Date and rotate perishable food items.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation.
• Assemble and fulfill warehouse orders.
• Assist in inventory cycles and Receiving System operations.
• Report safety or OSHA violations to supervisor.

THE JOB

Join the dynamic warehouse department at MGM Springfield as a Warehouse Attendant, where you will play a crucial role in managing daily operations, including receiving and organizing goods, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring efficient workflow. Your attention to detail and commitment to teamwork will contribute to the success of our operations in a fast-paced environment.

THE STARTING RATE

$20.45 per hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY

• Unload trucks by forklift and pallet jack
• Inspect incoming merchandise for count, specification, quality and quantity ; report shortages or damage to the receiving supervisor
• Stock or deliver received items to the appropriate area or department, check and sign for all incoming or outgoing items
• Date and rotate all incoming perishable food items
• Maintain a clean and orderly workstation
• Assemble and deliver warehouse orders
• Help maintain and assist the Receiving System (Stratton Warren)
• Assist in all physical inventories
• Report any safety or OSHA violation to supervisor

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Ability to operate a forklift (standard and automatic)
• Able to use an electric pallet jack, manual pallet jack, and a four wheeled cart
• Can work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
• Must be 18 years of age

Pay Rate

The rate for this role is: $20.45

This rate represents a good faith estimate of the wage rate that MGM reasonably expects to pay for the position upon hire.

Pay will not be below any applicable minimum wage.

Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.
