Job Summary

This seasonal, event-based role runs from April to September.

Summary: Receives, stores, and distributes materials, tools, equipment, and products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Read production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
2. Convey materials from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
3. Place materials/goods on racks, shelves, bins, or in refrigerated rooms according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
4. Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distribute to production workers or assembly line.
5. Assemble customer orders from stock and place on pallets or shelves; convey to packing or shipping.
6. Mark materials with identifying information.
7. Open bales, crates, and containers.
8. Record amounts of materials received or distributed.
9. Weigh or count items for conformance to standards.
10. Arrange stock parts for assembly.
11. Use computer to enter records.
12. Compile worksheets or tickets from customer specifications.
13. Drive vehicle to transport or pick up items.
14. Complete requisition forms for supplies.
15. Prepare parcels for mailing.
16. Maintain inventory records.
17. Perform other duties as assigned.
18. Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures; follow HACCP standards.
19. Prioritize safety and abide by company policies, including the use of gloves, oven mitts, slip-resistant shoes, and proper lifting techniques.
