Food Distribution company needs Inventory Associates for AM / PM SHIFTS
MUST BE ABLE TO WORK IN THE COLD AND GOOD WITH NUMBERS

Location: NYC

Shift: AM or PM

Pay Rate: $16.50

Responsibilities:

• Receive orders to appropriate storage areas to include picking, packing, unpacking, counting, recording, and stocking.
• Perform audits on incoming and outgoing to ensure items on invoice match items delivered.
• Inform supervisor of any outdated, damaged, or inferior product received.
• Review orders for completeness and accuracy; receive and document merchandise as it arrives.
• Perform other duties as may be assigned.

Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of the organization products and services.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
• Ability to communicate well both written and verbally.
• Basic knowledge of food and safety practices.
• Physical mobility to load, transport, unload product.
• Previous inventory, purchasing, stock experience.

Qualifications:

• MUST be able to work in a cold environment for long periods of time.
• Must have prior warehouse experience.
• Must know some technology to use a scanner.
• Must be able to lift over 50lbs.
