Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring Warehouse Associates in Apopka, Florida, offering weekly pay and a starting wage of $18.00 per hour. This role supports distribution across the US with state-of-the-art equipment and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of related warehouse experience required.
• PIT certification preferred/ required.
• Ability to operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts, pallet jacks.
• Ability to read, perform basic math in English for safety.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work overtime.
• Ability to use WMS data entry.

Responsibilities

• Package, kit and/or assemble orders.
• Load/unload inbound/outbound trailers and verify scans.
• Train dock staff on new procedures.
• Ensure security at shift end and address scanning issues.
• Perform picking and packing; check for damage.
• Move materials and complete transactions.
• Maintain housekeeping and assist team.
