Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a permanent, full-time Warehouse Associate for the Etna, Ohio facility. The role involves loading/unloading trailers, packing orders, operating powered industrial trucks, and following safety and warehouse procedures.

Eligible candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and relevant warehouse experience; certified on PIT is preferred. Position offers weekly pay, on-the-job training, medical/dental/vision/401(k) benefits, PTO, and discounts.

Qualifications

• Six months of related warehouse experience required.
• One year or more related warehouse experience preferred.
• Learn to operate powered industrial truck(s) including stand-up and sit-down forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, etc., with maintenance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Package, kit and/or assemble orders and materials.
• Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers; ensure all scanning is completed correctly.
• Train dock employees on new procedures and ensure facility security at shift end.
• Perform picking and packing duties and check for product or container damage.
• Perform tasks per location policies and handle materials within systems.
• Move materials with required physical/logical transactions.
• Participate in team activities to improve warehouse operations.
• Perform housekeeping for assigned area.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
