Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Permanent Full Time Warehouse Associate at our facility in Etna, Ohio. You will support receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping using state-of-the-art equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of related warehouse experience required.
• One year or more related warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to read and perform basic math in English for safety and instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Ability to input data into the WMS system.
• Work overtime as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Package, kit and/or assemble orders and materials.
• Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers and ensure scanning is completed correctly.
• Train dock staff on new procedures and maintain facility security at shift end.
• Perform picking and packing duties and address scanning issues.
• Maintain housekeeping and perform material moves as required.
• Collaborate in workgroups to improve warehouse operations.
