Job summary

Ryder in Lockbourne, Ohio is hiring a Permanent Full Time Warehouse Associate to support our facility. You will handle receiving, picking, packing and shipping duties in a fast-paced environment with state-of-the-art equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of related warehouse experience required.
• One year or more related warehouse experience preferred.
• Learn to operate powered industrial trucks (stand-up/sit-down forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks) and maintain them.
• Powered industrial truck certification is required.
• Ability to read and perform basic math in English for safety and instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Ability to input data into the WMS system.
• Work overtime as assigned.
• Ability to build professional relationships and work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Package, kit and assemble orders and materials.
• Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers and ensure scanning is correct.
• Train dock employees on new procedures and maintain security of the facility.
• Perform picking and packing duties and address product damage when needed.
• Move materials and handle transactions as required.
• Participate in team activities to improve warehouse operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and perform duties as assigned.
